Volleyball Suffers Pair of 3-0 Setbacks

New London, Conn. – The Framingham State University volleyball team suffered two 3-0 losses to Connecticut College and Tufts University during a tri-match hosted by Connecticut College on Saturday afternoon. With the setback the Rams move to 12-4 overall and 2-0 MASACAC. 

The Rams opened the day with a match against the Jumbos of Tufts University. Tufts won the match with scores of 25-12, 25-10, 25-16.

In the final match of the day, Connecticut College defeated Framingham 3-0 in rematch of their 2012 NCAA Regional matchup played against the Rams in Luce Field House. The set scores were 25-21, 25-19 and 25-16 in favor of the Camels.

The Rams will be back on the court when they travel to take on MCLA on Wednesday at 7:00 pm.
