Worcester, Mass. – The Framingham State University women's volleyball team defeated Anna Maria College 3-0 on the road this evening in non-conference action. The Rams won by scores of 25-13, 25-21 and 25-10.
Framingham State improves to 10-2 on the season, while the Amcats even their record at 6-6.
The Rams received a game-high 11 kills and two solo blocks from freshman Alycia Rackliffe (Feeding Hills, Mass.), while sophomore Danielle Girard (Tivoli, NY) chipped in with eight kills and nine digs. Senior Andressa Fernandes (Framingham, Mass.) also had a strong game with eight kills. Sophomore Annie DeLoid (Plymouth, Mass.) and freshman Julia Wan (South Deerfield, Mass.) contributed six kills apiece. Junior Maribeth Martin (Barnstable, Mass.) led the Rams with 21 assists.
The Rams return to conference action on Friday evening at Massachusetts Maritime Academy at 6 p.m.
