Volleyball Sweeps Anna Maria, 3-0

Framingham, MA - The Framingham State College volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 non-conference win over Anna Maria at the Athletic Center on Senior Night. With the win, the Rams improve to 11-13 on the season, while the Amcats fall to 2-17.

The Rams were led by sophomores Allie Appleman (Hyannis, MA), who had a game high 22 service points and four aces, and Ashley Trudeau (Rockland, MA), who had a team high 10 kills.  Senior Heather Winders (Plymouth, MA) added 25 assists and fellow senior Andrea Larson (Milton, MA) had 6 kills.

The Rams return to action on Saturday as they host Regis College and MCLA beginning at 10 a.m., while the Amcats travel to Lesley on Monday at 7 p.m.
