Volleyball Sweeps Tri-Match with Lasell and Husson

Framingham, MA - The Framingham State College volleyball team swept a tri-match with Lasell College and Husson University today at the Athletic Center as they defeated both teams by a score of  3-0.  In the middle match of the day, Lasell defeated Husson 3-1.

The Rams were once again led by sophomore Ashley Trudeau (Rockland, MA), who had 16 kills against Lasell and 13 kills and 3.5 blocks against Husson.  Freshman Meagan Malloy (Milford, MA) also had an outstanding day as she collected a career-high 19 kills against Lasell and nine kills against Husson.  Sophomore Allie Appleman (Hyannis, MA) added 17 digs in the win over Lasell.

The Rams return to action on Tuesday as they host UMass Boston at 6 p.m., while the Lasers host Rhode Island College at 7 p.m. and the Eagles travel to Maine Maritime at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
