Volleyball Picks Up Seventeenth Win of the Season

Framingham, MA - The Framingham State College volleyball team picked up their 17th win of the season 3-0 tonight at the Athletic Center over the visiting Vikings of Salem State.  With the win, the Rams improve to 3-2 in Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action and 17-12 overall, while the Vikings are still in search of their first conference win at 0-4 and are 1-17 overall.

Freshman Ashley Trudeau (Rockland, MA) had another outstanding game with nine kills, 16 digs and three blocks, while fellow freshman Nicole Donofrio (Whitman, MA) added seven kills and three blocks.  Tonight was also senior night for the Rams and senior Liz Pedro (Brockton, MA), who had nine kills, and 17 assists in the match, was honored before the game for achieve 1000 digs and 1000 assists in her career.

The Rams close out the regular season this weekend at the Bridgewater State Halloween Classic beginning Friday at 4 p.m.
