Women’s Track and Field Competes at Penmen Relays

Hooksett, NH - The Framingham State University women's outdoor track and field team was back in action this afternoon and had a strong day at the Penmen Relays hosted by Southern New Hampshire.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • The Rams were led in the throwing events by a ninth place finish from Alyssa Caputo in the shot put with her toss of 10.53m, while teammate Kaylee Beck finished 10th with her toss of 9.89m. 

  • Norah Russell was the Rams top finisher in the long jump with her leap of 3.67m, while Lydia Marunowski placed 13th in the triple jump at 8.97m. 

  • The 4x400 relay team of Meghan Johnston, Gwen Madden, Hannah Nilson, Camille Graffeo and Kelsey Gendreau placed fourth at 4:55.01, while the 4x200 relay team of Marunowski, Megan McAuliffe, Cassandra Toth, Justinne Quinanola and Becca Morris finished fifth at 2:01.92. 

  • Johnston recorded a 15th place finished in the one mile run at 5:50.50, while Toth and Quinanola finishes 15th and 20threspectively in the 400m run. 

  • Kate Buban placed 10thfor the Rams in the 5,000m run at 20:38.17.
