Moniz Named MASCAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Rookie of the Week

Framingham, MA – Freshman Jamie Moniz (Swansea, Mass.) has been selected the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Outdoor Track and Field Rookie of the Week for the week ending April 8th.      

Moniz placed fifth in the triple jump (10.26m), seventh in the high jump (1.42m) and 11th in the 200m run (28.22) at the Springfield College Classic. On Monday at the Regis Spring Classic, Moniz finished second in the high jump (1.50m), fourth in the javelin (30.57m) and fourth in the triple jump (9.66m).
