Weston, Mass. - The Framingham State University women's outdoor track and field team placed fourth this afternoon at the Spring Classic hosted by Regis College this afternoon.   

THE BASICS:

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • The Rams claimed fourth place with 51 total points on the day. 

  • The Rams duo of Alyssa Caputo and Kaylee Beck placed second and third in the shot with tosses of 10.62m and 10.16m respectively. Caputo also grabbed a third place finish in the discus at 30.86m and Beck placed seventh at 27.07m. 

  • Meghan Johnston added a seventh place finish in the 1500 at 5:29, while Kelsey Gendreau placed 10th at 5:34. 

  • Cassandra Toth crossed sixth in the 400m run at 1:05.84. 

  • Jamie Moniz once again continued the hot start to her career with the Rams finishing fourth in the javelin (30.57m), fourht in the triple jump (9.66m) and second in the high jump (1.50m). 

  • Gwen Madded and Justinne Quinanola placed fourth and fifth in the 800m run.

The Rams are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Southern New Hampshire.
