Bio

David Planchet enters his 4th year as an assistant coach of the women's lacrosse program in 2024. 

Prior to Framingham State, Coach Planchet was tasked to rebuild the Bromfield High School girl’s lacrosse program in the spring of 2014. In his 7 seasons with the Trojans, he guided them to a record of 124-31-1, competing in Central/West District Finals six times. During that time period Bromfield was crowned champions four times and captured three Massachusetts State Championship Finals.  During his time at Bromfield, Planchet coached nine US Lacrosse All-Americans and the Central Mass Player of the Year four times.     

Off the lacrosse field, Coach Planchet has over 16 years of experience coaching ice hockey and is a USA Hockey Level 4 certified coach.  

Coach Planchet grew up in Framingham playing both ice hockey and lacrosse in high school and went on to play ice hockey at the University of Connecticut. 

Coach Planchet and his wife Julie have 3 children; Jackie, Richard and Isabelle.  Both daughters played lacrosse collegiately; Jackie played at Keene St and Isabelle currently serves as the Rams volunteer assistant.
