Guerin Tabbed MASCAC Women's Lacrosse Co-Rookie of the Year as Rams Land Three on All-MASCAC Team

Framingham, Mass. – The Framingham State University women's lacrosse team landed three players on the 2021 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) All-Conference Team and freshman attack Hannah Guerin (Cumberland, R.I.) has been named the MASCAC Women's Lacrosse Co-Rookie of the Year in voting conducted by the league's coaches and announced by the conference office this morning.  

Senior midfielder Hanna McMahon (Watertown, Mass.) and junior attack Tara Palermo (Mashpee, Mass.) join Guerin on the All-MASCAC Team.

After an outstanding freshman season, Guerin earns her first All-MASCAC honors and shares Rookie of the Year honors with Worcester State's Lily Gendron.  Guerin tallied 28 goals with 15 assists for 43 points.  Guerin finished the season ranked second in league in points and assists and fourth in goals.

McMahon repeats as an All-MASCAC selection after tallying 29 goals with 10 assists for 39 points. McMahon finished the season ranked second in the MASCAC in goals scored and third in total points.  McMahon also recorded 16 ground balls with 43 draw controls on the year.

Palermo earns her first all-conference honors after tallying 29 goals and five assists on the season for 34 points.  Palermo finished the season third in the MASCAC in goals and fourth in points.

The Rams finished the 2021 season with an 8-2 record and earned a share of the MASCAC Regular Season Title with a 3-1 mark in the MASCAC.
