Marino & Guerin Earn Weekly MASCAC Women’s Lacrosse Honors

Framingham, Mass.- Framingham State senior attack Alissa Marino (Trumbull, Conn.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Lacrosse Co-Player of the Week while freshman Hannah Guerin (Cumberland, RI) has been named MASCAC Rookie of the Week for the week ending March 28th.

Marino tallied 12 goals and five assists with three ground balls and a caused turnover over a 3-0 start for the Rams. Tallied six goals and three assists for nine points in 19-9 win over Johnson and Wales University and added four goals and an assist in the win over Keene State College. Marino capped the week with two goals and a helper in the Rams 13-9 win over Westfield State.

Guerin tallied six goals and two assists for eight points with five ground balls and five caused turnovers in a 3-0 season start for the Rams. The freshman tallied four goals with a ground ball in the Rams 13-9 win over Westfield State and added two more goals plus three ground balls and three caused turnovers in the 21-11 win over Keene State College.
