Women’s Lacrosse Soars to 23-19 Victory over Lycoming

Hilton Head, S.C. – The Framingham State University women's lacrosse team received four goals and six assists from sophomore Grace Gamache (Dartmouth, Mass.) as the Rams defeated Lycoming 23-19 this morning in Hilton Head.

With the win, the Rams have won two straight and are now 3-1 on the season and have one final game remaining on their spring break swing through Hilton Head when they face Hope College on Saturday morning at 10 a.m.

Gamache paced the Rams on the offensive end with her four goals and six helpers, while senior Kimmy Foley (Mansfield, Mass.) added a team-best six goals and a helper.  Freshman Morgan Begley (Milton, Mass.) chipped in with a goal and three assists, while sophomore Nicole Pacheco (Woburn, Mass.) added two goals and an assist.

Freshman Hanna McMahon (Watertown, Mass.) and classmate Alissa Marino (Trumbull, Conn.) added three goals apiece, while freshman Britney Herskowitz (Cheshire, Conn.) recorded one goal and a helper. The Rams also received a single goal apiece from senior Kristen Keenan (Methuen, Mass.), junior Tess Destino (Gloucester, Mass.) and junior Jacey Salvi (Pittsfield, Mass.).
