Women’s Lacrosse Sixth Seed in MASCAC Tournament

Framingham, Mass.  – The Framingham State University women's lacrosse team has earned the sixth seed in this week's Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Lacrosse Tournament.

The Rams will travel to third seed Westfield State University on Tuesday, April 29th for a 7 p.m. quarterfinal round game.  The winner will advance to the semifinal round on Thursday to face second seed Worcester State University

Tuesday's other quarterfinal round match-up features fourth seed Fitchburg State University who will host fifth seed Salem State University.  The winner of that game will advance to face top seed Bridgewater State University, who captured the 2014 MASCAC Women's Lacrosse Regular Season Title.

The Tournament concludes on Saturday with the winners of the two semifinals meeting at the highest remaining seed.  The winner of the MASCAC Tournament receives the Conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championships.
