O’Connor Named MASCAC Rookie of the Week
Framingham, Mass.- Framingham State freshman forward Flannery O'Connor (Amesbury, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week for the week ending November 17th.
O'Connor averaged 13.7 points and eight rebounds in a 2-1 week for the Rams. She registered a double-double of 17 points and 10 boards with three blocks in her first collegiate game, a 91-41 win over Curry College.
O'Connor finished the week with an All-Tournament Team performance at the Brandeis Tip-off. She registered 11 points and seven boards in the 59-51 win over Eastern Nazarene College and 13 points, seven rebounds and three blocks in a setback to Brandeis.
