O'Day and Cunningham Earn MASCAC Weekly Honors

Framingham, Mass.- Junior guard Mary Kate O'Day (Berlin, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week and freshman guard Liana Cunningham (Quincy, Mass.) has been named MASCAC Rookie of the Week for the week ending January 6th.

O'Day scored a season-high 34 points with nine rebounds, two assists and a steal, while shooting 53.8% (14-26) from the floor in a win over Fitchburg State. She also scored a pair of three-pointers and went 4-6 from the free throw line. This is the second consecutive week O'Day has been recognized by the conference. 

Cunningham handed out seven assists and grabbed three rebounds in the Rams' win over Fitchburg State in 23 minutes of play. Her seven assists were a game-high.
