Rackliffe Selected For NEWBA Senior Classic

Framingham, Mass. – Framingham State senior center Alycia Rackliffe (Feeding Hills, Mass.) has been selected to participate in the 2017 New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) Senior All-Star Classic, which will be held on Saturday, March 25 at Mount Holyoke College's Mildred S. Howard Gymnasium at 2 p.m.

Nominations for the NEWBA Senior All-Star Classic were submitted by both coaches and sports information directors in the region, and selections were made based on a vote of the coaches. 

Rackliffe was named to the 1st team All-MASCAC and an ECAC All-Star after she led the MASCAC in total rebounds (275), rebounds per game (10.6) and blocks (85) while also tallying 13.5 points per game, good for 4th in the league. She closes her career in 4th place on the Rams all-time scoring list with 1,215 points and school record holder for blocks in a game (9), season (92) and career (294).

Rackliffe will be joined in the game by fellow MASCAC seniors Jennie Lindland (Bridgewater State), Jill Valley (Westfield State) and Kayla Hotaling (MCLA).
