Softball Splits with Wisconsin-Lacrosse and St. Lawrence

Game 1: Wisc.-Lacrosse 6, Framingham State 0 

• Wisconsin-Lacrosse received a combined one hit shout out from Weinzierl and Stark. Winzierl went the first six allowing junst one hit with three strikeouts and a walk, while Stark tossed the final inning recording three strikeouts. 

• Caroline Hughes took the loss for the Rams in the circle going two innings allowing an unearned run on three hits, while Shannon Ward tossed four innings of relief allowing three unearned runs on three hits with two strikeouts. 

• Emily Strzegowski tossed an inning for the Rams allowing a pair of earned runs on two hits. Weken. 

Game 2: Framingham State 4, St. Lawrence 1 

• The Rams struck first in the top of the first inning when Gwendolyn Carpenter reached on an error allowing Camille Desrochers to scamper home with the games fist run. 

• St. Lawrence tied the game in the bottom of the fourth on an RBI single. 

• The Rams took the lead for good in the top of the fifth on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Desrochers. 

• The Rams tacked on a pair of insurance runs in the top of the seventh on a Desrochers RBI single. Desrochers came around to score on a stolen base when Grace Swanson was caught in a run down. 

• Ally Moran earned the victory in the circle for the Rams going seven innings allowing an earned run on five hits with four strikeouts and two walks.
