Gunarathne Named MASCAC Softball Pitcher of the Week

Framingham, Mass. – Junior Kelsi Gunarathne (Providence, RI) has been selected the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Softball Pitcher of the Week for the week ending April 1^st.      

Gunarathne made three appearances last week with two starts and went 2-0 with a 0.58 ERA.  She tossed a complete game shutout victory against New England College going seven innings and allowing just two hits with a walk and six strikeouts.  She earned the game one victory over MCLA on Saturday going three innings and allowing no runs on two hits with five strikeouts.
