Framingham, MA - The Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) announced its 2008 All-Conference softball teams as voted on by each of the MASCAC's eight head softball coaches on Sunday and Framingham State College is pleased to announce that pitcher Kelly Knox was selected to the All-MASCAC Softball Second Team.

Knox, a senior Sociology major from Framingham, MA, finished the 2008 season with an 11-11 record and was among the conference leaders in all major pitching statistical categories including ERA, innings pitched, strikeouts, wins and appearances.  Knox ended the 2008 season with an ERA of 2.31 and struck out 95 batters, just three shy of the single season strikeout record which she set at 98 in 2006.  Knox, who was a First Team All-Conference selection in 2006, ends her career with the Rams holding the single season strikeout record as well as the career strikeout record with 247.

The Rams, the defending MASCAC Tournament Champions, finished this season 16-23 and were eliminated from the conference tournament in the second round.
