Newcomb and Walsh Earn All-MASCAC Cross Country Honors

Framingham, Mass. – Senior Emily Newcomb (Raynham, Mass.) and sophomore Patrick Walsh (Lynnfield, Mass.) have earned 2022 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Cross Country All-MASCAC Honors after finishing in the top ten in their respective MASCAC Championship races this past weekend.   

Newcomb earns her first All-Conference honors after finishing fifth at the MASCAC Championships. Newcomb, who has been one of the Rams top female runners this season, completed the 5K course at Stanley Park in a time of 19:43. 

Walsh earns his first All-MASCAC honors after finishing as the top Ram on the men's side on Saturday afternoon. Walsh placed fifth overall in the men's race completing the 8K course with a time of 27:48. 

The Rams close out the season on November 12th at the NCAA Division III East Regional hosted by Bowdoin College.
