Men’s Soccer Lands Three on All- Conference Teams

Westfield, Mass- The Framingham State University men's soccer team has placed three student-athletes on the 2015 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) All-Conference Teams, one first team nods and two second team honorees.

Senior Cory Cardeiro (Fall River, Mass) have been named to the first team. He led the Rams and finished 2nd in the conference with 31 points, scoring 13 goals and registering 5 assists.

Junior Simon Appiah (Worcester, Mass.) and senior Brandon Downey (Sandwich, Mass.) were voted to the second team. Appieah scored a goal and assisted on three others from the midfield this season. Downey helped the Rams earn the second-seed and first round bye in the MASCAC tournament with stellar defensive play in his senior campaign.

Framingham State will host Worcester State in the semi-final round of the MASCAC Tournament on Friday, November 6th at 6:00 p.m.
