Buzzards Bay, Mass. – The Framingham State University men's soccer team has placed five players on the 2012 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Soccer All-Conference Teams in voting conducted by the league's eight coaches.

Senior forward Jepherson Cardoso (Framingham, Mass.), sophomore midfielder Bryan DaSilva (Milford, Mass.) senior back Luis Gomes (Milford, Mass.) and senior goalkeeper Sam Yoder (Southbridge, Mass.) have all been named to the first team, while senior midfielder Will Menter (Haverhill, Mass.) is the lone second team selection.

Gomes, who earns his first all-conference accolades, and Menter, who earns his third second team nod, helped anchor the Rams defense that allowed just 1.33 goals per game this season as the Rams captured a share of the MASCAC Regular Season title with a 6-1 mark.  Menter also tallied three goals and an assist, while Gomes chipped in a single helper.

Yoder earns his first all-conference honors as he compiled an 8-5-3 record in the net with four shutouts.  Yoder allowed just 22 goals in 17 games with a 1.24 goals against average and averaged 7.1 saves per contest.
