Cardoso Named MASCAC Men’s Soccer Co-Player of the Week
Framingham, Mass. – Senior forward Jepherson Cardoso (Framingham, Mass.) has been selected the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Soccer Co-Player of the Week for the week ending October 28th. Cardoso shares Player of the Week honors with Fitchburg State's sophomore goalkeeper Aidan Hanratty (East Bridgewater, Mass.).
Cardoso netted both goals in the Rams 2-0 victory at Massachusetts Maritime that helped seal a share of the conference regular season championship. The Rams have won back-to-back conference regular season championships and share the 2012 honor with Salem State. Cardoso is leading the Rams in goals and points this season with 10 markers for 20 points.
The Rams will host a semifinal match of the MASCAC Men's Soccer Championship on Friday evening.
