Vieira Named to NSCAA Men’s All-New England South First Team

Framingham, Mass. – Sophomore midfielder Ronaldo Vieira (Framingham, Mass.) was named to the 2011 NCAA Division III Men's All-New England South First Team by the Nation Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).

Vieira was the 2011 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Player of the Year and a first team All-MASCAC selection after earning 2010 MASCAC Rookie of the Year honors a season ago.  Vieira earns his first All-New England honors after leading the Rams to the 2011 MASCAC Regular Season and Tournament Championships as well as an appearance in the NCAA Championships.

Vieira netted 11 goals, including four game-winning tallies and a pair of assists for 24 points this season and was the lone MASCAC player selected to the All-New England South first team.  Bridgewater State's Donald Flores, the only other MASCAC player recognized in the New England South, earned second team honors.
