Jones Selected to Participate in NEISL All-Star Game
Framingham, MA - Framingham State senior midfielder Mike Jones of Norwood has been selected to play in the New England Intercollegiate Soccer League (NEISL) Senior All-Star Game at Clark University on May 2nd at 2 p.m. The NEISL All-Star game features the top seniors from Division I, II, and III.
Jones, who was a second team All-MASCAC selection for the first time in his career, finished the season with career-highs in goals (5) and assists (8). He finished his career with eleven goals and 18 assists.
The Framingham State College men's soccer team finished the 2008 campaign 16-3-2 en route to their second consecutive Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) regular season championship and their first MASCAC Tournament Championship. The Rams were eliminated in the opening round of the NCAA Division III Tournament by Middlebury College.
