Men’s Ice Hockey Tripped Up at SNHU

Hooksett, N.H. - The Framingham State University men's hockey team was defeated on the road at Southern New Hamphsire University by a score of 6-4 Tuesday evening in non-conference action.

Jared Goudreau led the way for the Penmen with two goals while Chris Moquin scored a goal with two assists. Brandon Goudreau, Kyle Valliere and Joe Collins were all goal scorers for the hosts.

For the Rams, Mark Essery (Rockfall, Conn.), Ryan McGonough (Dorchester, Mass.) & Tyler Colacchio (Belingham, Mass.) all scored a goal and an assist. Zach D'Errico (Concord, NH) scored a goal in the loss for the Rams while Cam Coburn (Fresno, CA) picked up two assists.

Adam Calabrese (Philadelphia, PA) started in net for the Rams before giving way to Greg Harney (East Haven, Conn.) Alex Reissis made 25 saves in the win for SNHU.

The Rams were 2-for-3 on the power-play while the hosts were 1-of-3.

The Rams return to the ice on Saturday, February 11th when they host Plymouth State in MASCAC action.
