Stonehill Upends Ice Hockey; 7-1

Foxborough, Mass.- The Framingham State men's ice hockey team fell by a score of 7-1 to Stonehill College in non-conference action Saturday evening in Foxborough. With the win the Skyhawks improve to 3-1-1 and the Rams fall to 1-3.

The Skyhawks scored four time in the first frame with goals by Cameron Wright, Jack Scannell, Zachary Frament & Evan Jacques. Jacques scored again to open the second period before the Rams broke through. Keith Barnaby (Leominster, Mass.) scored on the power play 14 minutes into the frame for the visitors with Jake Sartorelli (Chelmsford, Mass.) assisting.

The hosts scored two more in the last period when Christopher Page and Jack Hall each scored to reach the final margin.

Billy Palmer made 20 saves in 53 minutes in next for the Skyhawks. Ray Feeley (Winthrop, Mass.) started in net for the Rams giving way the Adam Calabrese (Philadephia, PA) in the first period.

The Rams were 1-of-5 on the power play while the hosts were 1-of-6.

The Rams return to the ice on Thursday, November 17th when they host Plymouth State at 7:40 p.m.
