Framingham, Mass. – The Framingham State University men's ice hockey team has earned the sixth seed in the 2016 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Ice Hockey Tournament.
The Rams will travel to #3 Fitchburg State for a quarterfinal on Saturday, February 27th at 4:00pm. The winner of that contest will travel seconded seeded Plymouth State for the semi-final on Tuesday March 1st.
UMass. Dartmouth will host Westfield in the other quarterfinal and the winners will travel to #1 Salem State.
The winner of the two semifinal contests will face off on Saturday, March 5 for the MASCAC Tournament Title and a spot in the NCAA Tournament.
