Muggli Named MASCAC Men’s Ice Hockey Goalie of the Week
Framingham, Mass. – Sophomore goalie Alessio Muggli has been named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) men's ice hockey Goalie of the Week for the week ending February 8th.
Muggli tallied a .961 save percentage and 1.50 goals against average in his two victories during a 2-1 week for the Rams. Muggli made 43 saves in a 5-2 win at Fitchburg State and turned away 31 shots in a 2-1 victory against UMass Dartmouth.
The Rams are scheduled to travel to Salem State for a MASCAC matchup on Thursday, January 12th with the opening faceoff slated for 7:00 p.m.
