NEC would add two goals in the second period, including a score by Bryce Nielsen assisted by Kyle Manlow and a power-play goal by Cheyne Matheson (Wheatley, Ontario) assisted by Scott Cornfield (Brea, Calif.) and James O'Reilly.

The Pilgrims would net their fifth goal of the evening in 3:20 into the final period as Joe Osaka (Tokyo, Japan) would score his first collegiate goal putting in the Pilgrims' second power-play goal of the night assisted by Garrett Brazzier (Mississauga, Ontario) and James O'Reilly. NEC would tack on their final score of the evening at the 5:35 mark as Matheson would come through with his second goal of the game assisted by Nielsen.

NEC finished the game with a 48-17 advantage in shots on net. The Pilgrims finished the game 2-for-5 on the power-play, while the Rams were 0-of-4 with the extra man.
