Ice Hockey Defeated 6-4 by Stonehill College

Foxboro, Mass. – The Framingham State University ice hockey team surrendered four first period goals as they were defeated 6-4 this evening but Stonehill College in non-conference action.

With the win, the Skyhawks improve to 5-8 on the season, while the Rams fall to 1-7.

The tandem of junior forward Daniel Miressi (Monroe, Conn.) and sophomore forward Ryan McDonald (Anchorage, AK) combined for six points in the game as each racked up a goal and a pair of assists.  Junior Tom Tracy (Wakefield, Mass.) and senior defenseman Ben Pacific (Marlborough, Mass.) each tallied a goal for the Rams, while freshman Rich Hill (Tampa, Fla.) picked up an assist.

Stonehill took a 2-0 lead four minutes into the game with a pair of power play goals and added a shorthanded marker midway through the first as they took control and never looked back.
