Cafrelli Named MASCAC Ice Hockey Goalie of the Week

Framingham, Mass. – Sophomore goaltender Nick Cafrelli (San Jose, CA) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) men's ice hockey Goalie of the Week for the week ending January 22^nd, 2012.

Cafrelli made two starts this past week and posted a 1-1 record with a 1.52 goals against average and a .942 saves percentage.  The Rams as a team went 2-1 over the week defeating conference rival Worcester State and non-conference foe Franklin Pierce.  Cafrelli stopped all 31 shots he faced in a 2-0 shutout victory over Worcester and surrendered three goals with 34 saves in a loss earlier in the week at Westfield State.  On the season, Cafrelli has a 2.69 GAA and a .925 saves percentage.
