Ice Hockey Sweeps MASCAC Weekly Awards

Framingham, Mass. — Framingham State University freshman forward Daniel Miressi (Monroe, Conn.) has been selected the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Ice Hockey Player of the Week and senior Terence Sullivan (Shirley, Mass.) has been selected the MASCAC Ice Hockey Goalie of the Week for the week ending January 23rd.    

Miressi collected five goals and an assist for six points in a 1-0-1 week for the Rams.  He notched four points including his first career hat trick and an assist in the Rams 5-5 overtime draw with Salem State.  Earlier in the week, Miressi tallied two goals in the Rams 3-2 road win at Worcester State.  Miressi is leading the Rams in scoring this season with 18 points including 12 goals.  

Sullivan posted a win and a tie on the week while making 93 saves and a .930 save percentage.  He made 46 stops in the Rams tie with Salem State and 47 saves in the victory at Worcester State.

The Rams (2-10-1, 2-7-1 MASCAC) return to action on Thursday night as they host Plymouth State at 7:20 p.m.
