Men’s Basketball Falls at Salem State 73-58
Salem, Mass. - The Framingham State University men's basketball team was defeated 73-58 this evening by Salem State University in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action at Twohig Gymnasium.

The Rams were led offensively by a double double from Juran Ligonde. Ligonde tallied a team-high 19 points on 8-of-18 from the floor and grabbed 15 boards.

JD Okafor just missed a double double of his own as he tallied 17 points on 5-of-8 from the floor and added eight boards and two assists and a steal.

Marshall Martin chipped in with 11 points off the bench for the Rams, while Josh Dumay chipped in with six points and four boards.

The Vikings were led by a game-high 20 points and five rebounds from Chris MacDonald, while Conner Byrne chipped in with 16 points and eight rebounds.

Jarret Bryne tallied the lone double double of the game for the Vikings as he scored 11 and grabbed 10 boards.

Both teams shot 41% from the floor in the game and the Vikings held a slim 41-39 edge in rebounds.
