Newport, RI - The Framingham State University men's basketball team closed first semester action this afternoon as they were defeated 81-52 by Salve Regina University in non-conference action.

The Rams were led offensively by Jahden Erold. Erold scored 15 points on 6-of-12 from the floor and added nine boards, two assists and three steals.

Marshal Martin chipped in with 12 points and three rebounds with a pair of blocks, while JD Okafor finished the game just shy of a double double with eight points and 10 rebounds.

The Seahawks were led by a game-high 29 points from Mike Spencer. Spencer connected on 10-of-27 from the floor and grabbed seven rebounds.

Clay Brochu finished the game with 26 points, while Declan Walmsley added 10.
