Bruce Named MASCAC Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week

Framingham, Mass. – Senior forward Khaneil Bruce (Cambridge, Mass) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week for the week ending January 6^th.       

Bruce, who is playing his first season of collegiate basketball, averaged 9.5 points and 13.5 rebounds per game while shooting 43% from the floor in a 1-1 week for the Rams.  Bruce, who earns his first rookie of the week honor, recorded a double double of 12 points and 13 rebounds in a setback at Plymouth State. He closed the week with seven points and 14 rebounds including a key rebound in the game's final minute with the score tied in a 73-71 victory over Fitchburg State.
