Payton Earns MASCAC Player of the Week
Framingham, Mass. – Sophomore guard Manny Payton (Fitchburg, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending December 18th.
Payton scored 20 points, going 8-for-14 (57 percent) from the floor and 2-for-4 (50 percent) from beyond the arc while adding an assist and block in the Rams' 74-56 setback to ninth-ranked Tufts University.
The Rams return to action when they travel to the NYU Basketball Classic starting on December 29th in New York, NY.
