Figueroa Named Second Team All-MASCAC

Buzzards Bay, Mass. – Framingham State University junior guard Tyrone Figueroa (Revere, Mass.) has been selected to the 2011-2012 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Basketball All-Conference Second Team in voting conducted by the league's seven coaches and announced by the conference office this morning.

Figueroa, who earns his first all-conference nod, is a two sport athlete for the Rams playing men's basketball and football. This season on the hard court Figueroa led the Rams averaging 15.4 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.  He started 17 games on the year and shot 48% from the field and led the team with 51 steals and 82 assists.  The Rams finished the 2011-12 season 9-16 overall and were 3-9 in the conference.
