Bio

Framingham State University Director of Athletic Tom Kelley is pleased to announce the hiring of Ashley Means as the Rams head field hockey coach.  Means served as an assistant coach with the field hockey program during the 2015 season and is currently an assistant coach with the Rams women's lacrosse team.

Coach Means spent five seasons as the head girl's field hockey coach at Natick High School before joining the Rams sideline. 

Means spent her first season as the head girl's lacrosse coach at Wayland high school after spenging eight seasons at Natick High School in the same capacity.  During her time at Natick, Means has led her teams to three post season appearances including the program's first ever Bay State League Herget Division Championship in 2014.  In addition to coaching lacrosse, Means has served as the varsity girls' ice hockey coach at Framingham High School.

Means is currently employed with the Natick Public Schools as a special education paraprofessional.  Means is a graduate of Saint Michael's College in Colchester, VT where she earned a bachelor's degree in English Language Arts and was a four year member of the women's ice hockey team.
