Loughlin & Roehr Earn LEC Field Hockey Weekly Honors

Framingham, Mass.-Framingham State junior goalie Kaitlin Loughlin has been named Little East Conference (LEC) Field Hockey Goalkeeper of the Week for the week and freshman Natalia Roehr earned LEC Field Hockey Rookie of the Week for the week ending October 30th. 

Loughlin was named the LEC Goalkeeper of the Week after totaling 10 saves in a pair of 2-0 wins for the Rams to close out the regular season. She had six stops against Eastern Connecticut that clinched the No,. 8 seed for the Rams before stopping four shots in the victory over Fitchburg State. 

Roehr was named the LEC Rookie of the Week after scoring a pair of goals in a 2-0 week for the Rams that secured a berth in this week's conference tournament. She scored an insurance tally in a 2-0 win over Eastern Connecticut before potting what proved to be the game-winner in a 2-0 triumph over Fitchburg State.
