Five Rams Named to 2014 LEC Fall All-Academic Team

Framingham, Mass. - A total of 278 student-athletes, including five from the Framingham State University field hockey team, have been honored by the Little East Conference (LEC) with selection to the league's Fall 2014 All-Academic Team as announced earlier today by the LEC Conference Office.

Honorees from the 2014 field hockey team include seniors Rhea Urbaniak (Environmental Science) and Hannah Wilkins (Psychology), junior Samantha Pajer (Fashion Design & Retailing) and sophomores Sharon Sears (Mathematics) and Lynne Sirchia (Fashion Design & Retailing).

To be honored with selection to the Fall LEC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.3 or higher through the 2014 spring semester and be at least a sophomore academically and athletically.  The student-athlete must also be a full-time member of a varsity sport and be enrolled in its institution for a full academic year.  Framingham State participates in the Little East as their primary playing conference for field hockey.
