Ryan Selected LEC Goalkeeper of the Week

Framingham, Mass. – Senior Sarah Ryan (Uxbridge, Mass.) has been selected the Little East Conference (LEC) Field Hockey Goalkeeper of the Week for the week ending October 14^th.   

Ryan, who earns her second Goalkeeper of the Week honors this season, made 10 saves on the week to backstop the Rams to a 2-0 record, including a 1-0 mark in the conference.  Ryan posted a 0.50 goals against average and a .909 save percentage.  She stopped two shots to earn the shutout victory at Elms College, her sixth shutout of the season.  Ryan, who continues to lead the conference in goals against average, closed the week with an eight save performance in a key conference victory over Southern Maine for the Rams.
