Ryan Selected Little East Goalkeeper of the Week
Framingham, Mass. – Framingham State junior goalkeeper Sarah Ryan (Uxbridge, Mass.) has been selected the Little East Conference (LEC) Field Hockey Goalkeeper of the Week for the week ending September 25th.
Ryan, who earns her first goalie of the week honors, posted a 0.67 goals against average in 210 minutes of action leading the Rams to a 2-1 record last week and a 1-0 mark in the conference. Ryan recorded a pair of shutout victories over Wheelock College and LEC foe Eastern Connecticut State University. She made one stop in the win at Wheelock and turned aside eight in the victory over the Warriors which was the Rams first conference win of the year. Earlier in the week, Ryan made seven stops in a one goal loss to Gordon College.
The Rams return to action on Wednesday with a Little East game at Western Connecticut at 7 p.m.
