Four Rams Named to 2010 Field Hockey All-Little East Academic Team

Framingham, Mass. – Four members of the Framingham State University field hockey team have been named to the 2010 Fall All-Little East Conference Academic Teams.

Seniors Kristen Sacco (Mendon, Mass.) and Kira Terill (Charlton, Mass.), junior Kristen Gentilli (Franklin, Mass.) and sophomore Cali Tetreault (New Bedford, Mass.) are the Rams four honorees.  Sacco, an art education major, earns her third LEC all-academic honor, while Gentili, a food and nutrition major, and Terill, a psychology major, earn their second.  Tetreault, an undeclared major, earns the honor for the first time in her career.

The Little East Conference honored 186 student-athletes from the seven fall championship sports. To earn a spot on the all-academic teams a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have a cumulative grade point average of 3.3, and be a full-time member of a varsity team.  The Little East began honoring an all-academic team during the 2007-08 academic year.
