Callery and Curran Selected to D3football.com All-Region Teams

Framingham, Mass. – Junior offensive guard Brian Callery (Lowell, Mass.) and senior safety Cully Curran (Arlington, Mass.) and have been named to the 2022 D3football.com All-Region 1 Teams. Callery is a second team offense selection, while Curran has been selected third team defense.  

Callery was the 2022 MASCAC Offensive Lineman of the Year and an NEFW All-New England selection after an outstanding junior season. Callery, a first team All-MASCAC selection, started all 10 games for the Rams and was the anchor the offensive line. The Rams finished the year second in the MASCAC in rushing yards, rushing yards per game, yards per rush and rushing first downs.  

Curran, a two time NEFW All-New England selection and a 2022 first team All-MASCAC selection, finished the season with 64 total tackles including 49 solo stops with 6.5 tackles for a loss to go along with nine pass breakups. 

Players were nominated for these awards by the Sports Information Directors at the various schools, and schools and conferences were contacted multiple times as the season wound down to remind them to make their players eligible. In total, 1,096 players were nominated. All-Region teams are selected in balloting by sports information directors in each region and D3football.com staff. All players nominated for All-Region are eligible to be considered for the D3football.com All-America Team.
