Smiley Named to D3football.com Team of the Week

Framingham, Mass. – Junior defensive lineman Joshua Smiley (Springfield, Mass.) has been named to the D3football.com Team of the Week for week 10 of the 2018 football season.          

Smiley, who was named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week earlier this week, earns his first D3football Team of the Week honors after finishing with seven tackles, including six solo stops in the Rams victory over previously unbeaten Western Connecticut on Saturday.  Smiley recorded 3.5 tackles for a loss including a pair of sacks for a loss of 16 yards and also added a pair of forced fumbles, one of which led directly to a Rams touchdown in the victory.
