Harris Lands on D3football.com Team of the Week
Framingham, Mass. – Senior defensive back Jaquan Harris (Boston, Mass.) has been selected to the D3football.com Team of the Week for the week of October 6th and 7th.
Harris was earlier recognized as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Defensive Player of the Week after his record tying performance against Fitchburg State on Friday night.
Harris, who is just the sixth Ram to be selected for the D3football.com Team of the Week, recorded five interceptions in the victory over Fitchburg State tying the NCAA Division III single game record. Harris now shares the single game record with 11 other players with the most recent occurring in 2002.
Harris, who established a new FSU single game interception record, now has eight interceptions on the year, tying the FSU mark for picks in a season. His first pick against the Falcons was returned 19 yards setting up the Rams first touchdown of the game.
