Third Annual 7 vs. 7 Tournament Information Now Available
Framingham, Mass. – Framingham State University head football Coach Tom Kelley is pleased to announce the Third Annual 7 v. 7 Tournament which will be held at Framingham State's Maple Street Field on Saturday, June 24th beginning at 10:00 a.m.
The tournament format will begin with pool play consisting of five teams from different leagues when possible playing a round robin. The top two teams from each pool will advance to the single elimination playoffs.
Each team that enters is guaranteed a minimum of four games. Games will be 25 minutes in length and will be officiated by high school officials.
The first 20 high school teams to register and submit the $375 fee will be eligible to participate in the tournament. Teams will be responsible for providing their own footballs as well as a white shirt and a colored shirt.
Last year, Danvers captured the 7 v. 7 tournament title in the second year of the event.
