Wojenski Selected MASCAC Offensive Rookie of the Year as Football Lands 11 on All-MASCAC Teams

Framingham, Mass. – Freshman quarterback Adam Wojenski (Stratford, Conn.) has been voted the 2016 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Football Offensive Rookie of the Year  as the Rams placed 11 on the 2016 All-MASCAC Football Teams.

Senior defensive back Jaleel Wingard (Everett, Mass.), junior defensive back Jaquan Harris (Boston, Mass.) and junior defensive end Campbell Marchant (Longmeadow, Mass.) were selected to the first team defense, while junior offensive guard Dan Feeley (Winthrop, Mass.), junior tight end Stephen Beahn (Spencer, Mass.), sophomore wide receiver Napoleon Miller (Boston, Mass.) and sophomore return specialist Quron Wright (Worcester, Mass.) were selected to the first team offense.

Junior safety Tom Burns (Attleboro, Mass.), junior offensive tackle Joe Wilder (Stoughton, Mass.) and running back Quron Wright earned second team honors.

Wojenski was named the MASCAC's Rookie of the Week four times this season as he saw action in nine games and threw for 1,141 yards with nine touchdowns.

The Rams finished the 2016 regular season 7-3 overall and 6-2 in the MASCAC as they earned a berth in the Inaugural New England Bowl.
