Donahue and Stanfield Earn NEFW All-New England Honors

Framingham, Mass. – Senior safety Kevin Donahue (Norfolk, Mass.) and junior center Nick Stanfield (Everett, Mass.) have been named to the New England Football Writers Division II/III All-New England Team.     

Donahue, the 2014 MASCAC Defensive Player of the Year and first team all-conference honoree, led the Rams defense that surrendered just 16.9 points per game.  Donahue was the Rams leading tackler in 2014 with 95 stops including a school record 77 solo. He recorded 11.5 tackles for a loss with four sacks, five pass breakups and a forced fumble.

Stanfield continues to accrue honors this season after being named the MASCAC Offensive Lineman of the Year and a first team All-MASCAC selection.  Stanfield was the anchor of the Rams offensive line starting all 11 game this season.  The Rams had the second most potent offense in the conference averaging 423 yards per contest and scoring over 34 points per game.  The Rams offensive line led by Stanfield allowed just eight sacks on the year.

The All-New England Team will be honored by the New England Football Writers at their annual Captains and Awards Banquet on December 11th.
